First Visit
First Visit
When bringing your pet in for the first time, they may feel a little uneasy about other animals and unfamiliar surroundings. For your pet's safety and the safety of others in the hospital, please have your pet on a leash or in a carrier.
Prior to your visit, you will want to contact your previous veterinarian, if any, to obtain copies of current medical records, including vaccination records. You may have the veterinarian's clinic fax the records to us at 805 968-5018.
Please arrive 10 - 15 minutes early before your scheduled appointment to allow time to complete a new patient record. As you check in, you will be asked to provide current medical records, if they have not already been recieved.
We see patients primarily by appointment or established patients may be dropped off after 7:00 am weekdays. We attempt to allow ample time for all patients and surgical procedures. However, like humans, pets do not synchronize their illnessess with an appointment book and surgical procedures sometimes take longer than planned. Accounting for the ocasional delay, we make every effort to see clients on time.
