At Airport Animal Hospital, we know your pet is an important part of your family – and we’re committed to keeping your pets  in the best health possible. Our animal vet clinic offers pet care services, wellness checkups, spay and neuter, dental care, and senior care. We also offer emergency vet care and urgent care anytime our clinic is open. We are a full service animal hospital with an in-house pharmacy, lab, and radiology facilities. Our veterinary clinic is located in Goleta with easy access from Santa Barbara.

We offer standard pet wellness services including spay and neuter and routine vaccinations. Dogs and cats should be vaccinated annually for most vaccines, and three-year rabies booster for dogs. We also offer routine care for pocket pets (rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, mice, rats and ferrets). Because these pets are so small, they age quickly over the course of a year and can experience sudden health changes, so an annual check-up is essential. During the check-up they will be weighed and examined for any health problems.

Our regular pet care exams for dogs and cats include a full physical and laboratory testing. We offer standard tests including blood count, urinalysis, blood chemistry panel and parasite evaluation. If your pet is sick or needs surgery, we conduct additional testing including heartworm testing, blood pressure evaluation, and urine protein evaluations. We also conduct feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus testing for cats. Regular pet care is important for the long-term health and wellness of your pet -- we encourage you to bring your pet in to our Goleta animal vet clinic every six months or once a year.

Our animal vet clinic staff provides superior dental care. Regular cleanings by our veterinarian team do more than just prevent ‘doggy breath.’ Cleaning plaque and tartar buildup prevents the development of gingivitis, which left untreated, can cause tooth loss, periodontal disease and bacterial infections that can hurt your pet’s internal organs. As your pet ages, he or she requires additional preventive care to treat and manage age-related issues, such as arthritis, thyroid imbalance, heart disease and cancer. Just like in humans, early diagnosis of these conditions allows our veterinarians to treat and control these age-related diseases. We recommend bringing senior dogs and cats in at least twice a year for routine wellness care.

Our emergency care services are available for the entire Goleta and Santa Barbara pet community anytime our animal vet clinic is open – no appointment is necessary.
